A LITTLE FUN FOR iPHONE USERS.
I'm a Dad, I have four little ones and I just love to see them happy and having fun. I just discovered a litle site http://www.kidztory.com/ . These guys have created a joyous experience for those wanting some inexpensive entertainment for he kids. These excellent kids stories for the iPhone are worth a good look.
What I like about these is the fresh aproach to simplicity something my kids can just grab onto and enjoy the little stories withinn seconds. The graphics are rendered in the a quirky and fun cartoon spirit, the music is real Ukelale and the stories although based on the best childrens classics are inteligently embelished and modernised by the creators. Put all this together and you get the best $1.19 you may ever spend. I bought them all!

THE REAL MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE

it may have escaped the attention of many that Sydney is playing host to a meeting of some of the world's top money men and women to celebrate the 50th birthday of the Reserve Bank of Australia.

However, a secretive dinner at the Art Gallery of NSW to mark the event last night attracted a who's who of Australia's political and business world.

Notorieties included Peter Costello, John Dawkins, John Kerin and Ralph Willis. And, of course, the RBA was well represented, with governor Glenn Stevens and former governors Ian Macfarlane and Bernie Fraser in attendance.

John Howard and his wife Janette arrived, almost at the exact time as Mr Costello, from the other side of the entrance. The pair met, shook hands, and offered a polite ''Good to see you'' before moving up the stairs.

The visit by central bankers includes the president of the European Central Bank, Jean-Claude Trichet, the presidents of the Federal Reserve Banks of San Francisco and New York, Janet Yellen and William Dudley, the governor of the People's Bank of China, Zhou Xiaochuan, the governor of the Bank of Israel, Stanley Fischer, and New Zealand's Reserve Bank governor, Alan Bollard. Last night, some of these bankers were spotted being bussed from their meeting venue at the Sheraton on the Park Hotel to the Art Gallery. The event was held in the Grand Court, which seats up to 350 people.

They drank champagne before looking at artworks and sitting down for dinner entertained by a jazz trio.

The visit by the central bankers comes as world markets fear a second wave of financial stress if the Greek government defaults on its debts. There is also talk the stresses could lead to a break up of the European Union's common currency, the euro.

The low profile of the meeting is also a matter of design. Security is tight and the location of events a closely guarded secret.

Today's meetings will kick off with a session to discuss a paper co-authored by Mr Stevens on the challenges facing central banks. Mr Macfarlane will chair a second session on the financial sector, and the day will conclude with a discussion led by Ross Garnaut on supply side issues.

Last night's dinner came after meetings at the Sheraton between Mr Stevens, Mr Trichet and Mr Bollard.

So, does the health of the world's bankers reflect the ailing global market? A NSW Ambulance waited outside the Art Gallery all night just in case.

Hello Welcome to our blog. I'm not a real blogger so excuse my pathetic attempts to write interesting stuff down. I'll learn as I go.
Dec 2009,
The end of another year, thanks to all of my fantastic clients and supporters.

I don't have to tell you what a completely whack year it was for so many. Black Swans surrounded us, World Financial Markets Crashed, The US inaugurated it's first Black President, more amazingly he is accused of being of  Muslim Ethnicity, campaign detractors and the Associated Press found records that showed Obama was enrolled in school as a Muslim when living in Indonesia, His buddy Businessman Bernard Madoff pleads guilty to ripping off investors for $66 billion in a Ponzi scheme, forcing the Obama administration to withdraw his nomination for secretary of commerce. Ahh we only get the crumbs of what’s going down at the up side of town don't we.
Michael Jackson faked his own Death (I predicted it years ago) (Remember you heard it first here)  Cleverly World media ignored the feed for hours already suspecting that it "the report" was wwwumors" Jacksons Wacko persona so lends itself to my "Death of a King" conspiracy theory. It's reverse Elvis with a yet to come twist I predict.
Whilst we’re on the subject of R.I.Ps heres a list of notable people that also didn't die in 2009 but had their "obitweets" spread far and wide,  it seems that a good fake news story plus Richard Wilkins could mean curtains for any of us.

Jeff Goldblum, Natalie Portman, George Clooney, Britney Spears, Ellen DeGeneres, Michael Lohan, alleged Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan, Jared from Subway, Emma Watson and P. Diddy.
News has it that they are all feeling just above their reported status last time we checked, maybe that explains the spate of ZOMBIE MOVIES that were released for summer. If you are in need of assistance your in luck as I see the book stores are selling "The absolute Zombies Guide to Zombies"   a neat little primer full of tips and tricks for the recently bitten, I thought it should have included some whole of hand keyboard shortcuts for word or something, maybe left ALT + FIST to close a document!.

History has shown more often than not that popular opinion be it real or contrived through the use of mass media or caste etiquettes, pressures and doctrines that the human is truly a social animal, ruled and swayed by the fear of not fitting in or the threat of ostracization,

I think this is the real power that infects those that are bathing in the LCD glow day after day, post after post, txt after txt and tweet after tweet. What greater signal of ones acceptance than the neat click of ones ideas into the snug fit of popular ideas and memes. This truly is the real power behind the attraction, allure and addictiveness of social networking sites and the reason why so much of what is published on the net is taken so quickly by so many as true or at least fact based. Keep this in mind when your researching or even just entertaining yourself with web based content. You may not have had the advantage that first hand experience of reading your own Obituary the likes of P.Didy or George Clooney did and realizing instantly that it just isn’t true, although I can see P,Diddy patting himself down for a second and well, George simply having to pinch himself once again to remind him that it’s all still very true and  quickly returning to wondering just how much he’ll be paid for Ocean’s 27.

2009 introduced me to www.ted.com I can say that the site is seriously addictive. This fact I have proven by introducing several colleagues and friends to it, The husband of one pulling me aside and telling me “She is driving us all mad with TED” , “ We go out, bring friends home after a night out and she, full of cheer wants to sit our slightly blurry guests down at the big TV for a helping of Hans Roslings contributions to the visualization of data and dynasets, outlining trends and changes in the worlds critical social and economic dynamics. Very Nerdy indeed (you know who you are) sorry to say agree go look it’s amazing stuff.

A month or two later I get emails from prople that have forgotten that I introduced them to TED in the first place with links at the bottom of emails sayin go check this out www.ted.com
